If there are a few people that want to get involved will switch to a weekly thread to keep it tidy.

Week 1

Photograph Solitude

Shooting anything of a solitary nature immediately produces an image that weaves together a story. The subject could be a person or an object............... The Key is to isolate the subject in such a way that allows the viewer to create a story of their own. One way to do this includes placing the subject on the lines that make up the rules of Thirds.

It isn't dark, at the time half the pitch was in shade and half in bright sunlight, lot's of contast so had to bring the white down.

Cheers Karen. Yeah, it was better than I'd anticipated. The weather was really nice for a change. It got a bit too busy in the end though. Couldn't isolate anyone.

Mike those shots are great makes me feel I was there.
really like 7 but 4/5/6 are great.

Wow you lot were quick off the mark, some really great shots already from everyone.

Love the Halifax shots Mike especially 1,5 & 6.

Forgot how hard this one was cant beleive I got lucky enough that 2 days in a row saw 2 people in red on thier own.
